BCT-2E case splitting: We have encountered several instances where the case of the BCT-2E (black version) splits in cold weather. This problem was due to the black colorant, and has been rectified on all models produced after November 2009. Rest assured if you experience this problem we will replace your BCT-2E absolutely free!

Pad printing on the bottom of the BCT only designates the series, not the model - If your model is black, it IS an E model.
