The BB-75 debuted at the ISEE Expo in Orlando, Florida during the weekend of February 5th, 2010.
This unit tested at more than 125 2-ohm EBCs through 3000' of two-wire 18 ga copper shot line - conservatively rating it at 75.
The Shock Tube Adapter is still in development - though in the meanwhile it is possible to use the Wizard Arc on this machine. To do so requires modifying the Arc's spade connectors to banana plugs - and the higher output energy of the BB-75 may require the Arc electrode to be recoated with carbon from an ordinary #2 pencil between shots.
Serial Numbers 1-7 did not ship with a 9-Volt battery - all future shipments now include the 9-Volt batter (disconnected for shipment)
Not MSHA certified - not for use in explosive or flammable atmospheres.
